This chapter lists resources supporting Autodesk Civil 3D software. The amount of
support you need depends on your level of in-house technical expertise, the nature of the
problems, and the personnel and time resources you can commit to support. For many
issues, you can easily find the answers using these resources
Free Support Resources
Knowledge Base
The Autodesk Knowledge Base is the first place to look for support. Refer your clients to
the Autodesk Civil 3D main Support page. This site lists current hot topics and has a
searchable database of past issues and resolutions.

Discussion Groups
Autodesk-sponsored discussion groups provide an environment where Autodesk product
users and industry partners can ask questions and share information about Autodesk
products. Discussion group topics are publicly available worldwide. Autodesk encourages
you to participate by posting questions or providing input or answers to questions from
other users.

Webcasts
Weekly Autodesk Civil 3D webcasts highlight Civil 3D features, tips, and tricks. Presenters
include members of Autodesk Civil product management and development teams. Civil
3D webcasts take place every Friday from 12 noon to 1 p.m. Eastern time. All sessions
are recorded and archived on the Civil 3D website.
