physicianortherapist.

DO NOT change the L/min. setting on the flowmeter

unless a change has been prescribed by your physician or

therapist.

NOTE:Toproperlyreadtheflowmeter,locatetheprescribed

flowratelineontheflowmeter.Next,turntheflowknobuntilthe

ballrisestotheline.Now,centertheballontheL/min.line

prescribed.

2. Iftheflowrateontheflowmeterever fallsbelow0.5L/min.

formorethanaboutoneminute,theLOWFLOWalarm

willbetriggered.Thisisarapidbeepingoftheaudible

alarm.Checkyourtubingoraccessoriesforblockedor

kinkedtubingoradefectivehumidifierbottle.Afterrated

flowisrestored,morethan0.5L/min.,theLOWFLOW

audiblealarmwillgooff.
