Replacing the Battery

NOTE:Thescaleispower edbyaninevoltalkalinebatterythatshouldpr ovideappr oximately3,000

readingsbeforeneeding replacement.

NOTE:Whenbatteryreplacementisneeded,a“B”willappearintheupperlefthandcornerofthe

displaywindow.

1. Removethetwoscrewsthatattachthebatterycovertothebathscale.

2. Removeandreplacethe9Voltbattery.

3. Attachthebatterycovertothebathscalewithtwoscrews.
