New Features
The Voice API library provides the following new features in this release.
8K linear coder
Ability to play and record using linear PCM at 8 kHz with 8-bit samples (64 kbps) and
8 kHz with 16-bit samples (128 kbps) linear coding, VOX and WAVE file formats.
Coders are specified using the DX_XPB structure.
ETSI-compliant FSK
Support for sending and receiving two-way frequency shift keying (FSK) data,
compliant with European Telecommunications Standards Institute (ETSI). Parameters
to support this feature are available in dx_setparm( ).
