5. Replace the cover
by snapping it back
into place.
Replace the batteries if:
1. The weak battery
symbol appears in
the display.
2. Nothing appears in the
display when the power
is switched on.
INSTALLING BATTERIES
1. The battery cover is locat-
ed along the left side of
the monitor. Place thumb
and index finger on top
and bottom ridges.
2. Remove battery cover
by pressing and
pulling cover away
from the monitor.
3. Install lower battery first
according to the polarity
indications inside the
compartment. This bat-
tery should be in the
bottom position as
shown in figure 3.

tery, according to the
polarity indications inside
the compartment and as
shown in figure 4.

As the supplied batteries are for test only,
they may be discharged earlier than batter-
ies you buy in stores. Replace the batteries
in pairs. Remove batteries when unit is not
in use for extended periods of time.
Note: Batteries are hazardous waste. Do
not dispose of them together with
the household garbage.
