Connecting to a computer
Symptom Explanation/Solution
The computer does not
recognise your camcorder.
• Disconnect any other USB device than the
keyboard, mouse and camcorder from the
computer.
• Disconnect the USB cable from the computer
and camcorder, restart the computer, then
connect it again correctly.
• You cannot use the DVD-Camcorder in the
environment of Macintosh.
Cannot play a movie file
properly on a PC.
• Make sure you insert the connector in the
correct direction, and connect the USB cable to
the USB jack on your camcorder firmly.
• Disconnect the cable from the computer and
camcorder, restart the computer.
Connect it again properly.
Cannot use the provided
software (PowerDirector) on
a Macintosh computer.
• You cannot use PowerDirector with a
Macintosh computer.
• This camcorder is recognised just as a
removable storage device on a Macintosh
computer. (Mac OS 10.3 or above supported.)
PowerDirector does not
function properly.
• Exit the PowerDirector program, and restart
the Windows computer.
The image or sound on your
camcorder is not played on
your computer properly.
• Movie playback or sound may stop temporarily
depending on your computer. The movie or
sound copied to your computer is not affected.
• If your camcorder is connected to a computer
that does not support hi-speed USB(USB2.0),
the image or sound may not be played
correctly. The image and sound copied to your
computer are not affected.

Der Camcorder wird vom

Entfernen Sie alle USB-Geräte außer der
Tastatur, der Maus und dem Camcorder vom
Computer.
• Entfernen Sie das USB-Kabel vom Computer
und vom Camcorder, starten Sie den
Computer neu, und stellen Sie anschließend
die Verbindung ordnungsgemäß her.
• Der Camcorder kann in einer Macintosh-
Umgebung nicht verwendet werden.
Die Wiedergabe einer
Videoaufnahme auf einem
PC funktioniert nicht richtig.
• Achten Sie beim Anschließen auf die korrekte
Ausrichtung des Kabels. Stecken Sie das
USB-Kabel fest in den USB-Anschluss des
Camcorders.
• Entfernen Sie das Kabel an Computer und
Camcorder, und führen Sie einen Neustart aus.
Stellen Sie die Verbindung ordnungsgemäß
wieder her.
Die mitgelieferte Software
(PowerDirector) kann auf
einem Macintosh-Computer
nicht verwendet werden.
• Sie können PowerDirector nicht mit einem
Macintosh-Computer verwenden.
• Dieser Camcorder wird von Macintosh-Computern
nur als externes Speichergerät erkannt.
(Mac OS 10.3 oder höher wird unterstützt.)
PowerDirector funktioniert
nicht richtig.
• Beenden Sie PowerDirector, und starten Sie
den Windows-Computer neu.
Bild bzw. Ton des
Camcorders werden nicht
ordnungsgemäß auf dem

Computer zeitweise unterbrochen werden. Bild
und Ton, die auf den Computer kopiert wurden,
sind davon nicht betroffen.
• Wenn der Camcorder an einen Computer
angeschlossen wird, der Hi-Speed USB
(USB 2.0) nicht unterstützt, ist eine fehlerfreie
Wiedergabe von Bild und Ton nicht gewährleistet.
Bild und Ton, die auf den Computer kopiert
wurden, sind davon nicht betroffen.
