Quick Menu Menu 5-5
The navigation keys can also be used as shortcut
keys. When pressed in idle mode, they allow you to
access specific menu options directly.
1. Select the key to be used as a shortcut key:
• UP ( )
• DOWN ( )
• RIGHT ( )
• LEFT ( )
2. Select the menu option to be assigned to the key.
3. Press the Select soft key to save the setting.

your network service provider.
You can setup several proxies using the Proxy
Settings menu option (5-6-1), and you can designate
one as the current proxy, using the Current Proxy
menu option (5-6-2). The following parameters must
be set for each proxy; they may vary, depending on
your service provider. Contact your service provider
for further details.
Proxy Name: name of the proxy server.
WDP Address: IPaddress required to connect to the
Internet.
Port Number: number of the port to be used to
connect the gateway.
Home URL: URL of your home Web site.
Access Point
• NAS Phone Number: PPPserver phone number.
• Login Name: PPPserver login ID (may be optional).
• Password: PPP server password (may be optional).
• Network Type: V.32 Transparent, V.32 Non-
Transparent, V.110 Transparent or V.110 Non-
Transparent.
Service Colour Menu 5-7
There are five colours available for the service light:
normal (green), orange, red, violet and blue.
You can scroll through these colours, by pressing
the or key. Press the Select soft key to select
the required colour.
