Preset Message List Menu 2-4
Using this menu, you can preset up to five messages
that you use most frequently. This menu shows the
preset message list. Scroll through the list using the
and keys. When the required message number
appears, press the Options soft key.
The following options are available.
Edit: allows you to write a new message or edit the
selected preset message.
N o t e : For further information on how to enter text in
your message, refer to page 42.
Send Message: allows you to recall the selected
p r eset message. Once you have completed the
message, you can send, save and send, or simply save
i t .
Delete: allows you to delete the selected preset
message.
Setup Menu 2-5
Via this menu, you can set up default SMS
information.
Service Centre: allows you to store or change the
number of your SMS centre required when sending
text messages. You must obtain this number from
your service provider.

Write Messages Menu 2-3
Via this menu, you can write and edit text messages
of up to 160 characters.
1. Key in a message. For further information on how
to enter text, see page 42.
2. After you complete the message, you can select
the following options.
Send Only: allows you to send the message
immediately. You can enter the required
destination, enter or change the SMS centre
number, and select the message format (text, voice
or fax). Also, you can set the time period for which
the message is stored at the message centre
while attempts are made to deliver it.
Save and Send: allows you to save a copy of the
message and then send the message to the
required destination. You can read the message
using the Read Messages option. When you
read the message, ‘Sent’ is displayed to indicate
the message state.
Save Only: allows you to save the message so
that it can be sent later. When you read the
message, ‘Not sent’ is displayed.
3. After selecting the required option, press the
Select soft key.
The display prompts you to enter the destination
number.
4. Enter the phone number and press the O K soft key.
