This section describes the Push to Talk (PTT) feature which allows you to contact
your family, friends, and co-workers (also using PTT) to see if they are available.
Initializing Push to Talk Service
1. From the Idle screen, press the PTT key and Go to Step 3.
Alternatively, in Idle mode, press the Menu soft key to access menu mode.
2. Highlight PTT and press the Select soft key or the key. The PTT Setup
screen appears in the display. You will be asked if you want to initialize
PTT.
3. Press the Yes soft key to initialize PTT.
Alternatively, press the No soft key to return to main menu.
Note: PTT charges will apply.
4. Enter a name (up to 20 characters) in the Set Subscriber Name field and
press the OK soft key or the key.
5. A series of pop-ups appear in the display, informing you that initialization
has begun. Initialization can take several minutes.
