DSE (Digital Special Effect) in CAMERA mode

✤ The digital effects enable you to give a creative look to your record-
ing by adding various special effects.
✤ Select the appropriate digital effect for the type of picture that you
wish to record.
✤ There are 12 DSE modes.
1. Normal picture: This mode uses a normal image
without DSE effect.
2. MAKE-UP: This mode allows the image to be
selected only in red, yellow, green or blue colors.
3. EMBOSS: This mode gives the image a 3D effect.
4. WIDE(16:9): This mode allow a WIDE(16:9)
television display.
5. CINEMA: This mode covers the upper/lower
portion of the screen to give a movie-like effect.
6. NEG.(Negative): This mode allows images to
be recorded by reflecting the color of the image.
7. MIRROR: This mode cuts the image in half,
using the mirror effect.
8. MOSAIC: This mode gives the image a
checkered design.
9. B/W(Black & White): This mode allows the
image to be recorded in black and white.
10. SEPIA: This mode gives the image a SEPIA effect.
11. GHOST: This mode gives the image a
dragging effect. (SCM53 only)

STROBE: This mode records by inserting a cutting
effect on the image. In the STROBE effect picture
there are 30 fields(1), 15 fields(2), 8 fields(3). As a
reference, there are 50 fields in a normal recorded
picture. (

only)
13. LSS (Low Speed Shutter, SCM53 only) mode
(LSS).
■ To record with more brightness in a dark area.
■ The shutter speed can be chosen from
1/30(1), 1/15(2), and 1/8(3).
■ It is recommended that you use MF (Manual
Focus) if AF (Auto Focus) activates slowly
while you are in the LSS mode.
Note:
DIS, PIP and SNAP SHOT functions will not operate in
DSE mode. (SCM53)

✤ Los efectos digitales le permiten dar un aspecto creativo a su
grabación añadiendo varios efectos especiales.
✤ Seleccione el efecto digital apropiado para el tipo de imagen que
desea captar y el efecto que desea obtener.
✤ Se dispone de 12 modos DSE.
1. Imagen normal.
2. MAKE-UP: Este modo permite visualizar la
imagen seleccionada sólo en rojo, amarillo,
verde o azul.
3. EMBOSS: Este modo le permite crear efectos
3D en la imagen.
4. WIDE(16:9): Este modo le permite WIDE
(16:9) pantalla de televisión.
5. CINEMA: Este modo cubre la parte
superior/inferior de la pantalla para crear un
efecto similar a una película.
6. NEG.(Negativo): Este modo permite tomar las
fotografías reflejando el color de la imagen.
7. MIRROR: Este modo corta la imagen por la
mitad, usando el efecto de espejo.
8. MOSAIC: Este modo permite captar las imá-
genes usando un diseño en forma de fichas.
9. B/W(Blanco y negro): Este modo permite visu-
alizar la imagen en blanco y negro.
10. SEPIA: Este modo da a la imagen un efecto
SEPIA.
11. GHOST: Este modo da el efecto de arrastre a
la imagen. (sólo SCM53)
12. STROBE: Este modo filma insertando un efec-
to de corte en la imagen. En el efecto
STROBE se dispone de efectos campos 30(1),
15(2), 8(3) y como referencia, hay 50 campos
en la imagen normal. (solo SCM53)
13. Modo LSS (Filmación de baja velocidad, sólo
SCM53) (LSS).
■ Para filmar con mas intensidad de luz en
un area sombria.
■
La velocidad de obturador se puede elegir entre 1/30(1), 1/15(2) y 1/8(3).
■ Usando LSS, se puede activar lentamente AF(Auto Focus).
Entonces, se recomienda el uso de MF(Enfoque Manual).
Nota
:
La función DIS, PIP y SNAP SHOT no funcionarán en el modo DSE.
