Installing or Removing the Lithium Battery

Removing the Top

Cover

Refer to Figure 2-5 when removing the top cover and front panel and follow these

steps:

Step Action

Open front panel door by using a downward motion to pull it toward

you and off.

Insert a flat-head screwdriver in the slot above each of the six snap

hinges on the sides of the unit and push downward. The hinges snap

out toward you.

Repeat Steps 1 and 2 for the remaining hinges.

Lift off the top cover.

Release hinges

on each side.

Open and remove front

panel by unsnapping the

panel from its tabs.

Repeat for all six hinges
