HOW TO START YOUR DIET COMPUTER
Your Soehnle diet computer is ready for operation immediately: simply
unpack it and start it up. When weighing food, place the diet computer
on a level, sturdy surface.
Switching on: Press the On/Off key. "0 g" appears in the display.
Your diet computer is ready to weigh.
Switching Off: After weighing, "0" appears in the display. Two seconds
after pressing the On/Off key the scales automatically turn off.
If after weighing, "0" does not appear in the display, the scales will be
tared when the key is pressed (for an explanation of the TARA key,
see page 16).
The On/Off key must be pressed again to switch the scales off.
If nothing is weighed, the scales switch off automatically after two
minutes. The message "AOFF" appears briefly in the display.
Accessories: Stainless steel bowl (only with Food Control 8046)
The weighing platform of Food Control 8046/Food Pilot 8057 is made
from food-safe material. Nevertheless, uncovered food can be weighed
completely hygienically in the stainless steel bowl supplied with the
Food Control 8046 or on another base (foil, plate, dish etc.). By pressing
the On/Off key the base is tared.
PRE-SETTINGS
In your diet computer the reading for the weight is already set in "g".
By pressing the key "g/lb" you can change from grams to pounds –
"lb/oz" appears in the display. As long as this setting is stored it is
retained, even after the diet computer is switched off, until you modify
it via the unit key again.
WEIGHING AND RECALLING NUTRITIONAL VALUES
Switch on your diet computer and wait until the test display goes out.
The weighing units chosen by you appear in the display, ("g" or "oz").
Easy weighing: When weighing food, the weight of the support must
be taken into account; press the "TARA" key before starting to weigh.
The scales reset to "0".
