VII. OPERATION
WHETHER YOU ARE DRIVING FORWARD OR IN REVERSE
n Pull on the left handgrip to steer your Maxima to the left.
n Pull on the right handgrip to steer your Maxima to the right.
n Move the tiller to the center position to drive straight ahead.
n Release the throttle control lever to decelerate and come to a complete stop.
n The electric brake automatically engages when your Maxima comes to a stop.
NOTE: The rear wheel drive transaxle gives your Maxima maximum traction with minimal steering effort
on your part.
GETTING OFF OF YOUR MAXIMA
1. Bring your Maxima to a complete stop.
2. Remove the key from the key switch.
3. Push down on the seat lock lever and rotate the seat until you are facing toward the side of your Maxima.
4. Make certain that the seat is locked securely in position.
5. Carefully and safely get out of the seat and stand to the side of your Maxima.
6. You may, if you wish, leave the seat facing to the side to facilitate boarding your Maxima the next time you are
going to operate it.
