Safety instructions
ƽ Danger of electrocution!
• Connect the Professional Hair Dryer only to
correctly installed and earthed power sockets
with a mains voltage of 230-240V at
~
50 Hz.
• Under no circumstances may the Professional
Hair Dryer be submerged in fluids, or fluids be
permitted to enter the housing of the Professio-
nal Hair Dryer. Do not expose the appliance to
humidity and do not use it outdoors. Should
liquids enter the housing, unplug the appliance
from the power socket immediately and
arrange for it to be repaired by a qualified
technician.
• Never use the appliance near water, particu-
larly not near sinks, baths or other vessels
. The proximity of moisture presents a
danger, even when the appliance is switched
off. After use, always remove the plug from the
power socket. As additional protection, the in-
stallation of a faulty-current protection unit with
an activation power rating of not more than
30 mA is recommended for the power circuit in
the bathroom. Ask your electrician for advice.
• Remove the plug of the Professional Hair Dryer
from the power socket in the event of functional
irregularity and before cleaning the appliance.
• To disconnect, pull only on the plug itself, not
on the cable.
• Do not wrap the power cable around the Profes-
sional Hair Dryer and protect it from damage.
• To avoid injury, arrange for damaged power
cables to be exchanged by specialists before
re-using the appliance.
• Do not pinch or squeeze the power cord and
lay it in such a way that no one can tread on
or trip over it.
• Do not use extension cables.
• Never touch or handle the Professional Hair
Dryer, the power cable or plug with wet
hands.
• Immediately separate the Professional Hair
Dryer from the power source after use. The
appliance is completely free of electrical
power only when unplugged.
• You are not permitted to open the housing of the
Professional Hair Dryer or carry out repairs to it.
Should you do so, the safety of the device may
be compromised and the warranty becomes
void. The Professional Hair Dryer is to be servi-
ced and repaired by authorised specialists only.

• Do not allow individuals (including children) to
use the appliance whose physical, sensorial or
mental abilities or lack of experience and
knowledge hinder their safe usage of it if they
have not previously been supervised or instruc-
ted in its correct usage.
• Tell children about the appliance and its poten-
tial dangers so that they do not play with it.
• When it is switched on, never lay the Professio-
nal Hair Dryer down or leave it unsupervised.
• Never place the Professional Hair Dryer close
to sources of heat and protect the power cable
against potential damage.
• Should the Professional Hair Dryer be dropped
or sustain any damage, it may no longer be
used. Arrange for the appliance to be checked
and possibly repaired by qualified technicians.
• You are not permitted to open the housing of
the Professional Hair Dryer or carry out repairs
to it. Should you do so, the safety of the device
may be compromised and the warranty
becomes void. The Professional Hair Dryer is to
be serviced and repaired by authorised speci-
alists only.
