THE CASTER BASE
z Inspect for missing hardware.
z Base opens/closes with ease.
z Inspect casters and axle bolts for tightness and wear.
z Inspect casters for smooth swivel and roll.
z Inspect wheels are clear of debris.
SHIFTER HANDLE
z Operates smoothly.
z Locks adjustable base whenever engaged.
THE MAST
z Mast MUST be securely assembled to lift arms.
z Inspect for bends or deflections.
THE LIFT ARMS AND LINKAGE
z Check all hardware and attachment points.
z Inspect for bends or deflections.
z Inspect bolted joints of lift arms for wear.
z Inspect to ensure that the lift arms are centered
between the base legs.
THE ELECTRIC ACTUATOR ASSEMBLY
z Check for wear or deterioration (IF DAMAGED,
CONTACT DEALER).
z Cycle to ensure smooth quite operation.
CLEANING
z Whenever necessary.
SLINGS
z CHECK ALL SLING ATTACHMENTS each time it is
used to ensure proper connection and patient safety.
z Inspect sling material for wear.
z Inspect straps for wear.
