Connecting a Port Replicator
Your notebook supports the use of a port replicator (not supp lied). Attachi ng a
port replicator enables you to conn ect additional peripherals to your notebook.
To attach the notebook to the port replicator
First, connect the supplied AC adapte r or another Sony adapter (not supplied) to
the port replicator to supply power to the notebook once the port replicator is
attached.
The port replicat o r can be po w e red only by the AC adapter, so the AC adapter
must remain connected to the port replicator at all times while it is in use. If the
AC adapter is disconnected and/or the AC outlet is unplugged while using the
port replicator, the computer may malfunction and data may be lost .
