Your phone’s Voice Services let you place calls using your voice,
store voice reminders, and record memos right on your phone.
This section includes easy-to-follow instructions for
using voice-activated dialing and managing voice
memos.
Using Automatic Speech
Recognition (ASR)
You can use a voice dial tag to automatically dial a
phone number in your Contacts. (A voice dial tag is a
command you record and use to place calls without
using the keypad.)
Making a Call Using Automatic Speech
Recognition
1. Press and hold .
2. Follow the voice prompts and recite the entry’s
voice dial tag into the microphone.
Tip
Record your commands in a quiet environment and
without the aid of an accessory (for example, a
headset or hands-free car kit).
Note
If the phone does not hear a command within
approximately eight seconds, it deactivates voice
recognition without taking any action.
