DIS (Digital Image Stabilizer,VP-L630/L650 only)
✤ The DIS function only works in CAMERA mode.
✤ DIS (Digital Image Stabilizer) is a handshake compensation function that compensates for
any shaking or moving of the hand holding the camcorder (within reasonable limits).
✤ It provides more stable pictures when:
■ Recording with the Zoom.
■ Recording small objects close-up
■ Recording and walking at the same time
■ Recording through the window of a vehicle
1. Set the power switch to CAMERA mode. (See page 18)
■ Open the LCD display and adjust as necessery.
2. Press the MENU ON/OFF button.
■ The MENU list will be displayed.
3. Turn the UP/DOWN dialuntil DIS is highlighted.
4. Press ENTER.
■ The DIS setting will be changed.
5. Press MENU ON/OFF button to exit.
■ When the DIS is set, the DIS symbol ( ) will be
displayed in the display.
Notes:
■ It is recommended to deactivate the DIS function when using a tripod.
■ The DIS function will not operate in DSE mode.
■ The MENU ON/OFF function will not operate in EASY or CUSTOM mode.
