Alpha Entry
To enter letters when saving a name in the Internal Phone
Book or when entering a personal greeting:
1. Press the associated alphanumeric key to enter a letter.
2. To select the desired character, repeatedly press an
alphanumeric key to cycle through the letters and the
number associated with that key. For example,
repeatedly press to display A, B, C, 2.
3. To enter a subsequent letter, press the associated
alphanumeric key. If the next letter in the name entry is
the same as the previous letter (or appears on the same
key), press to move to the next space, and then
enter the next letter.
4. To erase a letter entered incorrectly, press . You
can also press , and then enter a different letter.
To erase the entire entry, press and hold .
Digit Entry
To enter digits in any mode:
1. Press the associated digit key. The entered digits display
on the screen from right to left.
2. To erase a digit, press . To erase an entire number
entry, press and hold .
