To Play a Tape

picture from the VCR.
2. Insert a tape in the VCR.
VCR automatically turns on. The cassette-in indicator ( _ ) lights, and the,
VCR indicator lights if the AUTO TVA/CR feature is set to ON. The tape
automatically begins playback if the safety tab on the cassette has been
removed and the AUTO PLAY feature is turned on.

Press PLAY-PAUSE on the VCR or PLAY on the remote, if necessary. The
playback indicator (1_)appears in the VCR's display panel.
Press TRACKING up or down to remove any streaks from the picture, if
necessary. Details are on page 25.
Press STOP.EJECT on the VCR or STOP on the remote.
Press REW on the VCR or remote.
The VCR automatically rewinds the tape if it reaches the end of the tape during
playback. Also, while a tape is rewinding, if you press POWER, the VCR turns
off after rewinding complete.
Press STOP.EJECT on the VCR to eject the tape once it is completely rewound.
