SURROUND DELAY

ENTER until the desired Surround Delay type (0/15ms, 5/
20ms
, 10/25ms, or 15/30ms) appears.
Notes:
• The first number represents the delay in Dolby Digital mode and
the second number represents the delay in Dolby Pro Logic
mode.
• The delay adjustment depends on the location of the surround
speakers and the front speakers. If the surround speakers are
closer than the front speakers, the delay adjustment can
compensate for the difference in distance.
Use the following charts to determine the delay setting. Follow
the vertical line for distance to your front speakers, and the
horizontal line to your rear(surround) speakers. At the
intersection, follow the diagonal line to the delay time..
