• If a desired language is not avail-
able after pressing AUDIO several
times, the DVD does not have that
language.
• Some DVDs only allow you to
change the language in the Disc
menu. Details are on page 48.
Helpful Hints
You can select a language for DVDs during playback.You can
change the language only if multiple languages are available on the
DVD.
● Before you begin, press OUTPUT SELECT so the red DVD light
appears on the front of the DVD/VCR.

During DVD playback, press DVD, then press
AUDIO so the audio display appears on the TV
screen.Within five seconds, press AUDIO repeated-
ly to choose one of the available languages. The num-
ber of available languages appears at the right of the audio
display. In this example, eight languages are available
( /8).
