46 Using the Printer Software
Windows 98 or Me
Follow these steps to set up the printer server in Windows 98
or Me:
1. Click Start > Settings > Control Panel.
2. Double-click the Network icon.
3. Click the File and Print Sharing button on the Configuration
menu.
4. Select the I want to be able to allow others to print to my
printer(s) check box, then click OK.
5. Click OK to accept the settings.
6. When prompted, restart the computer and continue with the
settings.
7. Select Printers from the Control Panel menu.
8. Right-click the LX-300+II icon, and select Sharing from the
menu.
9. Select Shared As, type the name in the Share Name box, and
click OK. Type a Comment and Password if needed.
