4. Enter a priority value for the VLAN ID in the Uplink Priority field. By default, all wired uplink interfaces have
the same priority. If you want to use an active-standby topology then prioritize each uplink interfaces by entering
a different priority value (1– 4) for each uplink interface.

5. Click Apply.
In the CLI
In this example, the DHCP client has the client ID name
myclient
and the interface VLAN 62 has an uplink priority
of 2.

Enabling the PPPoE Client
To authenticate to the BRAS and request a dynamic IP address, the controller must have the following configured:
l PPPoE user name and password to connect to the DSL network
l PPPoE service name — either an ISP name or a class of service configured on the PPPoE server
When you shut down the VLAN, the PPPoE session terminates.
In the WebUI
1. Navigate to the Configuration > Network > IP > IP Interfaces page.
2. Click Edit for a previously-created VLAN.
3. Select Obtain an IP address with PPPoE.
4. Enter the service name, username, and password for the PPPoE session.
