Seat-To-Floor Height
SEAT-TO-FLOOR HEIGHT (Dual axle models only)
WARNING
After ANY adjustments, repair or service and BEFORE use, make sure all attaching
hardware is tightened securely otherwise injury or damage may result.
A. CHANGING SEAT-TO-FLOOR HEIGHT (FIGURES 1 & 2)
WARNING
When changing the seat-to-floor height, the height of the anti-tippers must be
adjusted as well.
NOTE
The Manufacturer recommends that the following procedure be performed by an authorized
dealer or qualified technician.
1. Remove the rear wheels from the wheelchair. Refer to REMOVING/INSTALLING THE
REAR WHEELS in the REAR WHEELS section of this manual.
2. Remove the front casters from the wheelchair. Refer to INSTALLING/REPLACING SIX
OR EIGHT-INCH FRONT CASTERS AND FORKS in the FRONT CASTERS section of this
manual.
3. Refer to the chart of front caster/fork and rear wheel sizes, to determine mounting
positions for obtainable seat-to-floor heights.
4. Reinstall the front casters onto the wheelchair. Refer to Refer to INSTALLING/REPLAC-
ING SIX OR EIGHT-INCH FRONT CASTERS AND FORKS in the FRONT CASTERS section
of this manual.
5. Reinstall the rear wheels onto the wheelchair. Refer to REMOVING/INSTALLING THE
REAR WHEELS in the REAR WHEELS section of this manual.
6. Adjust Anti-tippers according to NEW seat-to-floor height. Refer to ANTI-TIPPERS in
the ANTI-TIPPERS/WHEEL LOCKS section of this manual.
