Appendix 2 Comparison with a Single CPU System
This section describes comparison between a single CPU system and multiple CPU system.
(1) When a Basic model QCPU is used
*1 "Number of CPU modules" indicates the number set in "No. of PLC" of PLC parameter ("Multiple CPU Setting").
*2 When a module occupying two slots is mounted, the maximum number of mountable I/O modules is the number
obtained by "25 - (Number of CPU modules + 1)".
When a module occupying three slots is mounted, the maximum number of mountable I/O modules is the number
obtained by "25 - (Number of CPU modules + 2)".
*3 If a Motion CPU or PC CPU module is used in a multiple CPU system, the Q3RB, Q6RB, and Q6RP cannot be
used.
