Installing the Center Mount Front Rigging Support
NOTE:Forthisprocedure,refertoFIGURE 3onpage 5.
NOTE:Rightandleftsidesofthewheelchairarefromtheperspectiveoftheseateduserinthe
wheelchair.
1. Removetheseatpan.Refertothewheelchairowner’smanual.
2. Installoneplugbuttonintoeachsiderail.
3. Ifnecessaryperformthefollowingtoadjustthecentermountriggingsupportwidth.
A. Measuredistancebetweentheseatrails.
B. Removethetwo¼‐20X1.25inchsocketheadcapscrewsand¼‐20inchlocknuts.
C. PositionthetwosupportextensionsaccordingtoDetail“A ” .
D. Usingthetwo¼‐20X1.25inchsocketheadscrewsand¼‐20
inchlocknuts,secure
thetwosupportextensionstothecentermountriggingsupport.
4. Securetheleftsideofthecentermountriggingsupporttotheseatframebracketusing
two¼‐20X1.50inchsocketheadscrewsandtwospacers.Torqueto79in‐lbs.
5. Securetherightsideofthe
centermountriggingsupporttotheseatframeusingthe
remainingtwo¼‐20X1.50inchsocketheadscrews.Torqueto79in‐lbs.
6. Positiontheseatpan(notshown)ontotheseatframe.
7. Securethecentermountriggingsupporttotheseatpanandfrontoftheseatframe
usingthenew¼‐20X1.5inchbuttonheadscrewandnew¼‐20inchlocknut.
8. Securetherearoftheseatpan(notshown)totherearoftheseatframeusingthe
existingbuttonheadscrew.
