5.1 Cleaning Grab Bars
1. To clean the grab bar, wipe the entire surface with a damp cloth and mild soap or non-abrasive
cleaner.

• DO NOT use as a climbing aid.
•ALWAYS
check that the grab bar is secured to the wall before use.
• Use EXTREME caution on wet tub or floor surfaces.
• NEVER use the grab bar if any looseness is detected. Grab bars are only secure as the
wall they adhere to.
CAUTION: Risk of Property Damage.
Use of suction cup grab bars may cause loose tiles or pieces of damaged walls and tub
surrounds to fall off.

• DO NOT use an abrasive detergent, cleaner or cloth to clean or dry the grab bars.
• Clean grab bars by hand.
• Maximum cleaning temperature is 65°C.
• Regular cleaning and inspection is recommended.
