4 Usage
4.1 Installing the Grab Bar

WARNING: Risk of Falling.
Damaged grab bars may not adhere to the wall properly.
DO NOT install grab bars if damage is found.
Grab bars may not get adequate suction to adhere to the wall.
DO NOT install grab bars directly onto grout lines or gaps in the wall surface.
DO NOT install grab bars onto dirty or wet walls.
1. Clean and dry the grab bar.
Refer to Cleaning Grab Bars
on page 4.
2. Clean and dry the wall.
3. Position the grab bar so that
it is not overlapping any
grout lines or gaps in the
wall surface.
4. Lift the lever (A) on each
end of the grab bar (B) until
the window (C) turns RED.
5. Press the grab bar against the wall.
6. Look at the window (1). Perform one of the following:
The window turns GREEN - The grab bar is properly
secured to the wall. Push the levers all the way down (2).
The window turns RED - Reposition the grab bar on the
wall, ensuring that the grab bar is not overlapping any grout
lines or gaps in the wall surface, and repeat STEPS 5 and 6.
7. Check that the grab bar is
secured to the wall before
use.
