This section provides information on the pages that appear under the Local Zone,
Zones and Alternates sub-menus of the VCS Conguration menu.
These pages allow you to congure the VCS’s Local Zone (which is made up of
subzones, including the Traversal Subzone and Default Subzone) and also create
and congure relationships with other systems (including other VCSs, Gatekeepers,
Border Controllers or SIP devices) via the use of zones. You can also congure up to
5 Alternates for resiliency.
This section includes an overview on all the different types of subzones and zones
and how these t into the overall structure of your video communication network.
