Receiving a message in standby mode
When your phone receives incoming messages in standby
mode, the ringer sounds, (unless it is turned off), and New
Voicemail, New Text, New Page or New Browser Msg
appears in the display. The message icon is displayed, and
remains so until you listen to or read the new message.
Receiving a message while on a call
You can easily review the new message while on the call by
pressing . Your call will not be disconnected, and you can
ask the other party to wait while you review the message.
Reviewing voice mails and text messages
When a message arrives, you can recall the sender’s call
back number if it is available, by pressing . To review the
message, press . The Inbox Msg list provides options for
reviewing the sender’s name, number, date and time
information, and the message.
Reviewing voicemail and text messages in
standby mode
1. In standby mode, press , to display the
Mail Kit
menu. The number of messages appears next
to the associated message type in the menu.
2. Press for Voice. The date and time for the last
voice mail message received display with a notification of
the number of new voice mail messages.
You can press to call your mail box directly to
review voice mails.
3. Press for Inbox
. A list of messages appear.
•A blue message number means the message is unread.
