Messaging
From the Applications Settings menu:
1. Using the Up or Down Navigation key, highlight Messaging and press the
Select soft key or the key.
2. Use the Up or Down Navigation key to highlight an option and press the
Select soft key or the key.
Text Message
Note: When sending an SMS message to an Email address, you must first change
the Current Profile to Email Settings.
• SMS Settings
ⅷ Center Address: allows you to change the default Center Address number of
your message center, which is required when sending messages. You must obtain
this number from your service provider.
ⅷ Expiration: you can select the length of time your messages are stored in the
message center after they are sent.
ⅷ Default Type: allows you to set the type of message you want to send. This is
network supported, consult your wireless provider.
ⅷ Name: allows you to change the name of the setting.
• Empty

• Sending Options
ⅷ Keep a Copy: saves a copy of the message being sent on the network server
and sends a copy to your Sent folder.
ⅷ Email Gateway Address: connects two or more electronic mail systems
(including dissimilar mail systems) and transfers messages between them.
