Discoverable
The Discoverable option allows your phone to wirelessly transmit its phone name
and status to every device within its range. This transmission can pose a security
risk and incite unauthorized connection to your phone. It is recommended that you
remain hidden unless necessary.
1. In Idle mode, press
Menu
➔ Settings ➔ Connectivity➔ Bluetooth.
2. If the second item in the Bluetooth menu is
Discoverable:Off
, then highlight
the
Discoverable:Off
option and press the Select soft key or the key.
The confirmation prompt displays:
Bluetooth is currently switched off. Switch
on: Yes
or
No
. Make your selection.
Note:
If the second item in the Bluetooth menu is
Discoverable:On
, then Bluetooth is already
discoverable.
My Devices
The
My Devices
option provides a list of Bluetooth wireless technology devices
discovered by your handset.
1. In Idle mode, press
Menu
➔ Settings ➔ Connectivity➔ Bluetooth ➔
My Devices.
2. Highlight Search New Device and press the Select soft key or the key.

Highlight a device and press the Select soft key or the key.
