Using the Menus
The phone offers a range of functions that allow you to
tailor the phone to your needs. These functions are
arranged in menus and sub-menus.
The menus and sub-menus can be accessed by using
the navigation keys or by using the index system.
Accessing a Menu Function by Scrolling
1. In idle mode, press the Menu soft key to access the
menu facility. Scroll with the and keys to
reach the desired main menu, e.g. Phone Settings.
Press the Select soft key to enter the menu.
2. If the menu contains any submenus: for example,
Language, find the one you want by scrolling with
the and keys. Press the Select soft key to
enter the submenu.
If the menu you have selected contains submenus,
repeat this step.
3. Scroll with the and keys to find the setting of
your choice. Press the Select soft key to confirm
the chosen setting.
Notes:
• You can return the previous menu level by pressing
the soft key.
• You can exit the menu without changing the menu
settings by pressing
the
key

Accessing a Menu Function by Using its
Shortcut
The menu items (menu, submenus and setting options)
are numbered and can be accessed quickly by using
their shortcut number. The shortcut number is shown in
the right-bottom next to the soft key on the display.
1. In idle mode, press the Menu soft key.
2. Within three seconds, key in the first digit of the
shortcut number. Repeat this for each digit of the
shortcut number.

Setting the Any-key Answer function
Press the Menu soft key, and key in , ,
.
Menu for entering the menu, 4 for Phone
Settings, 9 for Anykey Answer for menu function
and 2 to set the Any-key Answer ON.
Note: The numbers assigned to each menu function
are indicated on the list on page 68. They may
not match the menu number on the phone. It
depends on the services supported by the SIM.
