Use
Message Settings
to define settings for your messages.
1. Standby mode, tap

. The
Messaging
menu appears in the display.
2. Tap ➔
Settings
to change these settings:
• Message View Mode
: View messages to/from the same number/
Contact as a “chat session”, or view messages individually.
•
Entry Mode
: Choose the default method for entering text into messages
(
Xt9 Word

Abc
,
ABC
,
123
).
•
Auto Save Sent Msg
: Choose whether your messages are saved
automatically when you send them (
Auto-Save

Don’t Save
,
Prompt
).
•
Auto Erase Received Msg
:
Choose to automatically erase (

) or not
erase (
Off
) old received messages after you view them and new
messages require storage space.
•
Text Msg Auto View
:
Choose
On
to display the full content of a text
message when the message is received.
• Picture/Video Msg Download
: Choose
On
to have your phone
automatically download Picture and Video messages for viewing when
they are received.
•
Voicemail Number
: Edit or view your Voicemail number.
•
Callback Number
: Choose whether to include a callback phone
number with your outgoing messages, and enter the number to be
included.
•
Signature
: Choose whether to include a text signature in outgoing
message text, and enter the text to be included.
