Cleaning the VIEWFINDER
● Releasing the eyecup
1. Pull the VIEWFINDER out and lift it up.
2. Turn the two screws counter-clockwise and
pull the EYECUP out.
3. Clean the EYECUP and the VIEWFINDER
screen with a soft cloth and cotton swab
or a blower.
● Reattaching the EYECUP
4. Put the EYECUP on the VIEWFINDER.
5. Refit the screws.
Cleaning the Video Heads
To ensure normal recording and clear pictures,
clean the video heads when the playback
pictures display square block-shaped noise or
distortion or if only a blue screen appears during
playback, as the video heads may be dirty.
1. Set the power switch to PLAYER mode.
2. Insert the cleaning tape.
3. Press the (PLAY/STILL) button.
4. Press the (STOP) button after 10 seconds.

Check the quality of the picture using a videocassette.
If the picture quality has not improved, repeat the operation.
If the problem continues, contact your local authorized service center.

Clean the video heads with a dry type cassette cleaner.
Limpieza del visor
● Cómo quitar el ocular
1. Tire del visor hacia fuera y levántelo.
2. Gire los dos tornillos en sentido contrario al de
las manecillas del reloj y retire el ocular.
3. Limpie el ocular y la lente del visor con un paño
suave o con un pincel soplador.
● Cómo poner el ocular
4. Coloque el ocular en el visor.
5. Ponga de nuevo los tornillos.
Limpieza de los cabezales de vídeo
Para asegurarse de que las grabaciones
resulten normales y las imágenes sean claras,
limpie los cabezales de vídeo cuando al
reproducir las imágenes éstas se vean
distorsionadas o cuando se oigan ruidos
extraños.También se deben limpiar en el caso
de que sólo se vea una pantalla azul, pues esto significa que los
cabezales pueden estar sucios.
1. Ajuste la videocámara en la modalidad PLAYER.
2. Inserte la cinta de limpieza
3. Pulse el botón (PLAY/STILL).
4. Pasados 10 segundos, pulse el botón (STOP).

Compruebe la calidad de la imagen empleando un videocasete. Si no
ha mejorado, repita la operación. Si el problema persiste, póngase en
contacto con un centro de servicio autorizado.
■
Limpie los cabezales de vídeo con una cinta limpiadora del tipo seco.
