Setting Up and Using the Quick Menu

The Quick Menu is only available in REC mode.

Quick Menu is used to access camcorder functions by simply using the Navigation Wheel. Quick Menu provides easier
access to the frequently used menus without using the MENU button.

You can access the following functions by turning the Navigation Wheel:
- Changes the DATE/TIME stamp format that is displayed on screen.
-You can access this function using the MENU button (refer to page 39).
1. Turn the Navigation Wheel to select DATE/TIME .
2. To change the format, press the Navigation Wheel while the DATE/TIME is highlighted.
- Each press of the Navigation Wheel on the DATE/TIME menu changes the format in this order: DATE — TIME —
DATE/TIME
- Changes Wireless Remote Control acceptance.
-You can access this function using the MENU button (refer to page 40).
1. Turn the Navigation Wheel to select WL.REMOTE( ) .
2. Each press of the Navigation Wheel on WL.REMOTE( ) toggles the Wireless Remote acceptance between ON and
OFF.
- Anti-Shake function; turns the Digital Image Stabilizer function on and off.
-You can access this function using the MENU button (refer to page 56).
1. Turn the Navigation Wheel to select DIS( ) .
2. Each press of the Navigation Wheel on DIS( ) toggles the Digital Image Stabilizer between ON and OFF.
