PROGRAM AE (Automatic Exposure)

✤ The PROGRAM AE function works in the CAMERA mode only.
✤ The PROGRAM AE modes allow you to adjust shutter speeds and
aperture to suit different recording conditions.They give you cre-
ative control over the depth of the field.
✤ There are 6 automatic exposure modes.
1. AUTO mode
■ Auto balance between the subject and the background.
■ To be used in normal conditions.
■ The shutter speed automatically varies from 1/60 to 1/250
second, depending on the picture.
2. SPORTS mode ( )
■ For recording people or objects moving quickly; you should able
to play back the picture in slow motion on an 8 mm VCR or stop
on a given image with very little blur.
3. PORTRAIT mode ( )
■ For focusing on the background of the subject, the background
being out of focus.
The PORTRAIT mode is most effective when used outdoors.
■ The shutter speed automatically varies from 1/60 to 1/1000
second, depending on the picture.
4. SPOTLIGHT mode ( )
■ To record correctly when there is only light on the subject and
not the rest of the picture.
■ The shutter speed is 1/60 second.
5. SAND/SNOW mode ( )
■ For recording when the people or objects are darker than the
background because of reflected light from sand or snow.
■ The shutter speed automatically varies from 1/60 to 1/250 sec-
ond, depending on the picture.
6. HSS (High Speed Shutter) mode ( )
■ For recording fast-moving subjects such as the players in golf or
tennis games.
■ You may need to light the recording area.

✤ La función PROGRAMA AE sólo funciona en modo CAMERA.
✤ El modo PROGRAMA AE le permite adaptar la velocidad y abertura
del obturador a las diferentes condiciones que se va a filmar. Estos
elementos le permiten controlar creativamente la profundidad de
campo.
✤ Hay 6 modos automáticos de exposición.
1. Modo AUTO
■ Equilibrado automático entre el motivo y el fondo.
■ Se utiliza en condiciones normales.
■ La velocidad del obturador varía automáticamente de 1/60 a
1/250 de segundo, según la escena.
2. Modo SPORTS ( )
■ Si filma personas u objetos que se mueven con rapidez; podrá
reproducir dichas imágenes a cámara lenta en un reproductor
VCR de 8 mm o parar una imagen concreta con bastante nitidez.
3. Modo PORTRAIT ( )
■ Para enfocar el motivo principal y frontal, quedando el fondo
desenfocado.
El modo PORTRAIT es más efectivo cuando se utiliza en el
exterior.
■ La velocidad del obturador varía automáticamente de 1/60 a
1/1000 de segundo, según la escena.
4. Modo SPOTLIGHT ( )
■ Para filmar correctamente cuando hay una sola luz que ilumine
el motivo y el resto de la escena esté sin luz.
■ La velocidad del obturador es de 1/60 de segundo.
5. Modo SAND/SNOW ( )
■ Para filmar cuando las personas o los objetos están más oscuros
que el fondo debido a la luz reflejada de la arena o la nieve.
■ La velocidad del obturador varía automáticamente de 1/60 a
1/250 de segundo, según la escena.
6. Modo HSS (Obturador de gran velocidad) ( )
■ Para filmar motivos que se mueven con rapidez como
jugadores de golf o partidos de tenis.
■ Quizás necesite iluminar la zona de filmación.
