1. In Menu mode, select Messaging →
Inbox.
2. Select a text message.
Add and find contacts
Learn the basics of using the phonebook
feature.
Add a new contact
To add a new contact in the device's memory:
1. In Menu mode, select Contacts →
Options
→ New contact.
2. Enter contact information.
3. When you are finished entering information,
select Done to save the contact card.
To add a new contact on a SIM or USIM card:
1. In Menu mode, select Contacts →
Options
→ Settings → Contacts to
display
→ SIM memory → OK.
2. Select Default saving memory → SIM
memory
→ OK.
3. Select Back.
4. Select Options → New contact.
5. Enter contact information.
6. When you are finished entering information,
select Done to save the contact card.
Find a contact
1. In Menu mode, select Contacts.
2. Enter the first few letters of the name you
want to find.
To insert additional information fields, select
Options
→
Add detail
→
a field type.
