1. Touch the Menu ( ) tab
“Tele Macro.”
2. Touch a desired submenu item.
3. To exit the menu, touch the Exit (
) or Return ( ) tab.
• When using the Tele Macro function, focusing may be difficult and can take some time.
• Avoid shadows when recording at close ranges.
• As the distance to the subject becomes smaller, the focusing area narrows.
• If focusing is difficult because the distance to a subject is too small, record a little further away
using the Zoom (W/T) lever or Zoom (W/T) button.
• When recording with the Tele Macro function, we recommend you use a tripod (optional) to
prevent camcorder shake.
Tele Macro
Using the Tele Macro function, you can get close up images which are created by focusing on a small
portion of a large object at a wide angle. The effective focal distance in the Tele Macro mode is between 80
to 100 cm. (31.49 to 39.37 inches)
