View a text or multimedia message

In Idle mode, open the application list and select
Messaging.
Your messages are grouped into message threads by
contact.

Select a contact.

Select a text or multimedia message from the message
thread.

For a multimedia message, select the attachment (with
an image le) or select
to view the attachment.
From the message view, use the following options:
• To forward the message to other people, tap and hold
the message and select Forward.
• To protect the message from being deleted, tap and hold
the message and select Lock message.
To insert emoticons, press [
]
→
Insert smiley.

Select Send to send the message.

Send a multimedia message

In Idle mode, open the application list and select
Messaging
→
New message.

Enter a name or recipient number.

Select Type to compose and enter your message text.

Insert smiley.

Attach
→
an option and add an item.
You can select from Pictures, Videos, Audio, Slideshow,
Contacts or Calendar; you can also Capture picture,
Capture video, or Record audio.

Press [ ]

Add subject and add a subject for the
message.

Select Send to send the message.
