Copy and paste text

While you are entering text, you can use the copy and
paste feature to use text in other applications.
Place the cursor where you want to start.

Tap and hold the text input eld.

Select text from the option list.
Tap on the place where you want to end.

Tap and hold the highlighted text.

Copy to copy, or Cut to cut the text onto the
clipboard.

Enter text using the QWERTY keyboard

When you slide open the device, you can use the QWERTY
keyboard. Select the keys as necessary to enter your text.
Use the following features with the QWERTY keyboard:
Press [
• ] to change case.
Press [
• ] to enter characters on the upper half of the
keys.
Press [
• ] to change the input language.
Press [
• ] and [ ] to bring up a character picker for
miscellaneous symbols.
The keys required to open the symbol panel may
dier depending on your region or service provider.
Press an appropriate key to enter a character, number,

and symbol.
