AnswerPhone Menu 3-5
You can set your phone to answer calls and play a
recorded message.
You can use the message to inform callers of your
current situation and to guide them to leave
messages in your voice mail.
While the message is being played, you can, if you
so wish, take the call by pressing the Accept soft
key.
The following options are available.
AnswerPhone: allows you to turn the answerphone
feature on and off. When the answerphone is on, the
[Answer Phone]
appears on the last line of the
display.
Message Record: you can record for up to
35 seconds. To stop recording before the time is up,
press the Stop soft key. To change the message, use
the Delete option and then record a new message.
Message Select: the phone provides two default
messages and allows you to record your own
personal message (see the previous option). You can
select User Message only when you have recorded
your own message.

Tones
You can use the Tones menu to customise various
sound settings, such as the:
• Ringing tone or melody, volume and type
• Sounds made when you press a key, make an
error or receive a message
Note: The silent mode allows you to turn the various
tones off when discretion is required. Press
and hold down
to toggle between
activating and deactivating the silent mode.
Ring Tone Menu 4-1
This option allows you to select the required ringing
tone. You can change ringtones by downloading from
the WAP Browser.
Note:
• You can also change the changeable ringtones
by another downloading service. Please
contact your service provider or Samsung
service center to check its availability.
• This feature is only available if your service
provider supports it.
When you receive a ringing tone message, proceed
as follows.
1. To listen to the tone, press the Play soft key.
2. Press the Save soft key.
