✤ The Audio Dubbing function works only in Player Mode.
✤ You cannot dub sound on a pre-recorded tape in LPor 16 bit mode.
✤ You can add sound to the original sound on a pre-recorded tape recorded in
SP mode with 12bit sound.
✤ Use the internal or an external microphone (not supplied) or other audio
equipment.
✤ The original sound will not be erased.
1. Set the Power switch to PLAYER.
■
If you want to use an external microphone,
connect the microphone to the external MIC
input jack on the Camcorder.
2. Set the Mode switch to TAPE.
■
When you wish to dub using the External A/V
input, connect the Multi-AV cable to the Multi-
AV jack at the front side of camcorder.
(see to page 75)
3. Press the (PLAY/STILL) button and find
the time frame of the scene to be dubbed.
4. Press the (PLAY/STILL) button to pause
the scene.
5. Press the A.DUB button on the remote control.

Audio dubbing ( ) icon will be displayed.
■
The Camcorder is ready for dubbing.
6. Press the (PLAY/STILL) button to start
dubbing.
7. Press the (STOP) button to stop the dubbing.

You cannot use the Audio dubbing function while playing a write protected
video tape.
■
To utilize an external MIC or sound source, connect a microphone to the MIC
jack or use the Multi-AV cable to connect to external sound source input.
■
To dub an external sound source, set the AV In/Out function to AV In.

✤ La función Audio Dubbing sólo está operativa en la modalidad Player.
✤ No puede grabar sonido adicional en una cinta grabada anteriormente en
modalidad LP o en modalidad de 16 bits.
✤ Puede añadir sonido al sonido original de una cinta grabada en la modalidad
SP con 12 bits de sonido.
✤ Puede usar el micrófono incorporado, uno externo u otro equipo de audio.
✤ El sonido original no se borrará.
1. Coloque el interruptor Power en PLAYER.
■
Si va a usar un micrófono externo, conéctelo
en el conector de entrada de MIC de la
videocámara.
2. Coloque el interruptor Mode en TAPE.
■
Cuando desee mezclar sonido utilizando la
entrada de A/V externa, conecte el cable Multi-
AV a la toma Multi-AV situada en la parte frontal
de la videocámara. (Consulte página 75.)
3. Pulse el botón (PLAY/STILL) y busque el
principio de la secuencia en la que desea hacer
la mezcla.
4. Pulse el botón (PLAY/STILL) para hacer
una pausa en la escena.
5. Pulse el botón A.DUB del mando a distancia.

Aparecerá el icono de Audio dubbing
<Grabación de audio> ( ).
■
La videocámara está lista para grabar audio
adicional.
6. Pulse el botón (PLAY/STILL) para empezar
la mezcla.
7. Pulse el botón (STOP) para detener la mezcla.

La función de mezcla de audio no se puede utilizar si la cinta está protegida
contra grabación.
■
Para utilizar un MIC externo o una fuente de sonido, conecte un micrófono a
la toma MIC o utilice el cable Multi-AV para la entrada de la fuente de sonido
externa.

Para grabar una fuente de sonido externa, ajuste la función AV In/Out (Ent/Sal
AV) en IN (Entrada) (Sólo VP-D453i/D454i/D455i) (Consulte página 75.).
