F. Bafe & Ceramic Blanket Removal
1.Removeallashfromtherebox,andextinguishallhot
embers before disposal into a metal container.
2. Itiseasiertoremovebothbafeboardsandceramic
blanketafterthetubechannelassemblyhasbeenpartially
disassembledandtherightsidelowered.Followsteps
1 through 4 on page 25 for removal of the tube channel
assembly. It is not necessary to completely remove the
tube channel assembly.
3. Oncethebafeprotectioncoverhasbeenremoved,pull
thebafeboardsandceramicblanketforwardabout1inch
(25mm)andthenoverlapthebafesabout1-2inches(25-
51mm). Figure 23.2.
4. Slidethetubechannelassemblytotheleftasfarasitwill
goandlowertherightside.Removethebafeboardsand
ceramicblankettogether.Figure 23.3.
4. Re-installinreverseorder.Besurethebafeboardsand
ceramicblanketareintheirproperpositions.See Figure
11 .1 on page 11.
E. Door Handle Assembly
1. Install washer on door handle shaft.
2. Slidedoorhandlethroughdoor.
3. Install additional washer(s) as shown in Figure 23.1.
4. Installkeyingroove.
5. Aligngrooveinlatchcamwithkey;slidelatchcamover
shaft
6. Installlocknutbutdonotovertighten,thehandleneeds
to move smoothly.
7. Installhandleturninginacounter-clockwisemotionto
desired location on door handle rod. Figure 23.1.
CAUTION!Donotovertightenlocknut.Thedoorhandle
needstomovesmoothly.
