To Check the Tape Library’s Contents by
Cassette Number, Title, Category, or
Recording Date
If you press the LIBRARY button M when no cassette is
inserted, operation steps 1 and 2 below are not necessary.
In this case, start from operation step 3.
1 Press the MENU button U and then press the Cursor
buttons (341) R to select “Tape Library” and “Library
contents” in this order.
2 Press the OK button T.
3 Press the Channel buttons (red) :, DATE button
(green) ;, ON button (yellow) G or OFF button (blue)
F .
Pressing the above buttons displays a list of the
recorded programmes as follows:
Channel (red) ::
By cassette number
DATE (green) ;:
By title in alphabetical order.
ON (yellow) G:
The list of categories appears.
Press the Cursor buttons (34) R to select the
desired category and then press the OK button T.
The titles are now listed in alphabetical order.
OFF (blue) F:
By date (latest first)
4 Press the Cursor buttons
(3421) R to select the
desired programme (title).

corresponding cassette.
If the cassette that contains the desired programme is
already in the VCR, this operation step 5 is not
necessary.
≥ The Cassette Number Check starts immediately and
the list of programmes disappears temporarily until the
check is completed.
≥ If the cassette number does not appear on the VCR
display, see page 27.
6 Press the LIBRARY button M.
≥ After the selected
programme is found, the list
of Library contents menu
disappears and playback
starts automatically.
Hint:
≥ If you press the OK button T after performing operation
step 4, the menu for entering (or changing) a new title and
category appears and you can enter (or edit) a new title
and a category. (See page 29.)
