Mica-Filled, Dual Voice Coil
Polypropylene Woofer
The mica-filled polypropylene woofer uti-
lized in the PSW800 is optimized for tran-
sient speed and dynamics. The mica filling
adds just the right amount of stiffness while
at the same time reducing the overall cone
weight. This combination offers phenome-
nal rigidity and stiffness-to-mass character-
istics that make it especially suited for low
frequency reproduction. Niles speaker
engineers have coupled this exceptional
cone material with a dual voice-coil drive
system that enables installers to custom
configure single or double woofer systems
to a stereo amplifier.
