Adjusting the Tear-off Position
The Dual Purpose Forms Device Document on Demand features
allow you to tear off a form using the tear bar upon completing a
print job. You can then prepare the printer to print the next print job.
Tear Bar
To change the tear-off position of a form, follow these steps:
| 1. Make sure the printer is at the top of form position. Press
| Load/Eject one time.
The printer displays
and the Ready indicator goes off. The paper quickly advances
| to the tear-off position. You can also use the Automatic Eject or
| Automatic Restore options to change the tear-off position of a
| form. See

2. Open the acoustic cover.
3. If the perforation on the form is not at the tear-off position, use
the Micro ↑, Micro ↓, and Line Feed keys to adjust the form
position until the perforation is exactly in line with the tear-off bar.
The limits for the Tear-off Position Adjustment from the default
position is ±19.05 mm (0.75 in.).
