Resetting the Camera
If your camera does not respond when you press any buttons,
try resetting the camera as follows:
1 Holding the camera upside down with the back of the
camera facing you, open the battery/memory card door on
the bottom of the camera.
2 Remove the battery from the camera, and make sure the
HP AC power adapter is not connected to the camera.
3 The Reset switch is the
small hole located above
the battery slot, as shown.
Press the straightened end
of a paper clip into the
Reset switch until the
switch is depressed, and
hold it down for
approximately three
seconds, then remove the
paper clip. The camera is
now reset.
4 Reinsert the battery and close the battery/memory card
door. You may now use the camera again.
