The HP printer uses print cartridges to print on media.

The HP printer uses three print
cartridges:
For storage instructions, see
“maintaining print cartridges” in the
onscreen user’s guide.
For recycling instructions, see “print
cartridge recovery” in the onscreen
user’s guide.
replacing a print cartridge
To replace a print cartridge:
1.
Press the
Power
button to turn on the
printer.
2.
Open the top cover.
The cradle moves to the center of the
printer.
3.
Open the cradle latch.
4.
Slide the print cartridge out of the
print cartridge cradle and discard it.
5.
Remove the replacement print
cartridge from its packaging and
carefully remove the plastic tape.
1. pull pink tab to remove the plastic tape
Caution!
Do not touch the print cartridge
ink nozzles or copper contacts. Touching
these parts will result in clogs, ink failure,
and bad electrical connections. Do not
remove the copper strips. They are
required electrical contacts.
